With this statement at the beginning of the Preface of BGE, Nietzsche challenges what our relationship has been to truth. How have we approached her? The Socratic method seeks truth by leaving no stone unturned, all dark crevaces hidden from sight will be shone with light, truth shall be forced to reveal herself to us.
